Experience Route is the act of killing certain enemies and employing certain tactics along a route with the intent of minimizing the number of level-up animations that occur during a run. Every time Alucard levels up, a short animation (TODO: Detail how long the animation is in frames or seconds) plays and Alucard is frozen in place until it is finished. Normally, Alucard will gain only one level per level-up animation. However, it is possible to combine multiple level increases into a single level-up animation by getting Alucard's XP very close to the threshold needed for a level up, then killing a high XP value enemy (typically a boss). The Experience Route takes advantage of this ability to skip level-up animations to minimize time loss during a run.
