Soma Any% No 0HP is the most popular speedrunning category for Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. It allows various movement glitches to be used to complete the game quickly, banning only the 0HP glitch and Extended shop glitch.

Manticore manip
- Walk left to the top of the slope, then perform a boosted backdash down the slope.
- Hold right, then immediately after you walk off the slope, press R+attack simultaneously. Check Soma's legs to ensure he's falling rather than standing.
- Get knocked to the right by the rotating skull enemy, then drop through the platform as soon as you land.
- If you get knocked to the left instead, this means your R+attack input was performed early while you were still standing on the slope above.
- Wait for Manticore to walk forward a bit, then hop and do a falling slash on Manticore, immediately followed by a second slash after landing.
- If Manticore starts its fireball attack instead of walking forward, this means you waited too long to fall through the platform after landing on it.
- Pause slightly until Manticore lowers its head to begin its tail attack sequence, then perform three more quick standing slashes.
- If Manticore keeps walking forward into you instead of lowering its head, this means your first slash was too early - it needs to be after the head lowers.
- Immediately after the last standing slash connects, perform a full boosted backdash from it to dodge the tail stab attack.
- Time each slash instead of mashing them to make sure they come out quickly enough to give you time to backdash.
- After the boosted backdash ends, walk forward and jump slash Manticore, then hold left and quickly whiff two slashes. Stop in the left half of the tall stone pillar so that the final Creaking Skull hits the rotating skull before hitting Manticore's tail and body.
