In the standard [[SOTN/Alucard_Any%_NSC | Any%]] route, the fastest way to reach Faerie Card in the Long Library is to hop off of one of the Books while leaping off the stairs in Wolf form. It is a fairly difficult trick to pull off, as the behavior of the Book is [[SOTN/RNG | random]], and the window for execution is fairly tight.
